GP Liaison

The GP Liaison Unit assists general practitioners (GPs) to navigate the services provided by St Vincent’s Hospital. The team also works to improve communication between the hospital and general practice.

Clinic and Service Contacts for Referrers

St Vincent’s GP Liaison Unit were recently alerted to a significant number of referrals being directed to fax numbers not intended for this purpose, delaying processing and triage.

As a result we are providing a consolidated list of contacts that are likely to be most commonly used by referrers.

Please cross check against your address books and update where necessary.

Some specialist clinics have designated fax numbers. In these instances, it is preferable that referral be directed to the designated fax, but they will be redirected if sent to the General Specialists Clinic Fax: 03 9231 3489. If no specific contact listed, please send to General Specialist Clinics. Clinic and Service Contacts for Referrers.
