St Vincent’s rehabilitation support for patients with post COVID 19 complications
Many patients suffer prolonged physical, cognitive and functional impairments after COVID 19 infection, especially after ICU or other hospitalisation.
St Vincent’s is offering multidisciplinary rehabilitation at Kew or Fairfield sites or via Rehab-in-The-Home for patients in cities of Yarra, Darebin (South of Preston) and Boroondara. For surrounding suburbs, please enquire with the service.

Cancer screening in General Practice has fallen dramatically during the COVID-19 epidemic and may lead to delayed cancer diagnosis.

St Vincent’s Mental Health Services COVID-19 Update
All functions of the Mental Health Service will continue to operate and is still accepting referrals. However, telephone contact and triaging will replace face to face care where safe to do so. If the usual Mental Health Triage number (Phone 1300 558 862 - 24hrs) is not working, please contact Psych Triage via the hospital switchboard 9231 2211.

- Discharge summary – within 48 hours
- Letter from Emergency Department – within 48 hours
- Letter from Specialist Clinics (initial appointment/discharge) – 5 working days
