2021 ACMD RESEARCH WEEK - CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The 2021 Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery Research Week will be held from Monday 2 to Friday 6 August 2021. ACMD Research Week is a celebration of research activity across the campus. The broad aims of the ACMD Research Week are to:

  • Encourage excellence in on-campus research
  • Promote interaction between clinicians and scientists on the campus
  • Provide opportunities for researchers indifferent disciplines (allied health, clinical, nursing and scientific) to present their work at the same forum
  • Contribute to evidence-based healthcare and highlight the range of research technologies and resources that draw the campus together

The ACMD Research Week Committee is now calling for abstracts to be considered for the 2021 ACMD Research Week oral and poster presentations. Submitted abstracts are invited to display a poster at the Virtual Poster Viewing session on the opening night of ACMD Research Week of Monday 2 August 2021, and selected applicants will be invited for an oral presentation on a session during the week.

7th World Conference on Research Integrity

The 7th WCRI will be hosted as a series of webinars on six engaging and relevant topics as a precursor to a live event in 2022. These discussions will form part of the broader research integrity dialogue, and set a foundation we hope to build on in Cape Town when the RI community gather to – at long last – meet in person.

Each topic will be broadcast live via webinar in two different time slots. This is to ensure that as many delegates as possible from around the world and in different time zones are able to participate.

The sessions are free of charge and will take place via Zoom.

Date: 30th May – 2nd June

Location: Online via Zoom
