St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is large tertiary public healthcare service that provides a range of clinical services including acute medical and surgical services, emergency and critical care, aged care, diagnostics, rehabilitation, allied health, mental health, palliative care and residential care.
We deliver care to some of our Melbourne’s most vulnerable groups and work with a vast network of partners to deliver high quality treatment, teaching, education and research.

Registrations and visas
There are two essential requirements for working in Australia:
- Obtaining a visa with full working rights in Australia or have Australian/New Zealand citizenship. - Obtaining valid registration with Australia’s Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) (if required for your profession)
