Disability Liaison Officer
St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne has a dedicated Disability Liaison Officer. The role assists people with disability, their families and carers to access services at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.
The Disability Liaison Officer can support you and your healthcare team to access safe, accessible and more inclusive care during your hospital stay and when attending outpatient appointments. They can provide you with any information you need, including connecting you with other health and human services.
The role has a strong focus on making sure that you can access COVID-19 screening and treatment easily.
The Disability Liaison Officer:
- Supports people with disability to access COVID-19 assessment and treatment
- Supports people with disability to access the health services they require
- Provides disability-specific advice and support to the hospital
- Identifies and reduces barriers to health service accessibility for people with disability

Available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
