For Health Professionals

St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) has been ranked as one of the top 100 hospitals in the world by Newsweek in 2019. They have credited these hospitals with being at the forefront of adapting to new challenges while providing quality patient care.

The Social Work Department at SVHM is recognised as a leader in evidence based systems and practice to inform the development and delivery of clinical services to all patients, families and carers including highly vulnerable groups.

SVHM Social Work Department partnered with the directorate of Mission at SVHM to develop the Aboriginal Health Unit.
