Pastoral and Spiritual Care

ABOUT THE SERVICE
Pastoral and Spiritual Care

Coming to hospital can feel unfamiliar and challenging for both patients and their visitors. The Pastoral and Spiritual Care team offers compassionate and non-judgemental listening presence to offer support during illness, uncertainty, change, or loss. The team offers a safe reflective space to explore what matters most and identify sources of strength and meaning. The service is available to patients, families, carers, and staff.

Our Pastoral and Spiritual Care Practitioners are an integrated part of the care team. The Pastoral and Spiritual Care team respects and supports people of all beliefs, cultures, identity and choices. The team can facilitate connection with various faith representatives on request.
