Team Leader Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service Nicole Watt The Team Leader Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service has oversight of the Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service, and provides cultural support to Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers and staff in identified roles. Contact Telephone: (03) 9231 1138 Email: SVHMAHLOService@svha.org.au Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers Soupoura Charles, Worrin Williams, Rhys Radcliffe, Ava Jarrett The Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers provide cultural support to, and advocacy on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. They also provide culturally specific secondary consultation to clinicians caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. Aboriginal Health Services Coordinator Deb Barnes The Aboriginal Health Services Coordinator undertakes service improvement work including policy, project, research, and internal continuous improvement work to promote improved outcomes and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Contact Telephone: (03) 9231 1138 Email: SVHMAHLOService@svha.org.au Coordinator of Koori Beds Prue Shanahan The Coordinator of the Koori Beds coordinates referrals into the Koori Beds in the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service, in conjunction with the SVHM Aboriginal Health Unit and the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service. The Coordinator of the Koori Beds also facilitates the provision of culturally safe care in accordance with the Social and Emotional Wellbeing model of care for admitted consumers. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Clinical Support Nurse Molly Kennedy The Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Clinical Support Nurse provides cultural and clinical support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduate nurses, cadets, and supports the Medical Education team with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Medical Intern Program. Aboriginal Research Assistant Tia Pynor-Greedy The Aboriginal Research Assistant undertakes research activities for Aboriginal Health Unit led research projects.
