Advanced Life Support

This study day is most suitable for SVHM staff who wish to gain or consolidate knowledge and skills in adult Advanced Life Support (ALS) or those wanting a comprehensive update.

Advanced Life Support Refresher

This refresher session is designed for SVHM staff who are ALS certified and require their annual training and assessment.

BLS Train the Trainer

To enrol for this course please go to the Workday link on the intranet. You will be automatically logged in to Workday (If you are using a shared computer, you must log into the computer with your own network username and password).

IV Cannulation

This workshop is designed to equip SVHM employees with the knowledge and skills required to competently perform Intravenous (IV) Cannulation.

Implanted Port Program

This workshop is designed to equip SVHM Registered Nurses and Medical Officers with the knowledge and skills required to competently access and de-access implanted venous ports (IVP).

Male Catheterisation

The aim of this workshop is to provide SVHM Nurses and Medical Officers with the knowledge and skill necessary to perform urinary catheterisation of male patients safely and competently.
