Welcome to St. Vincent's

Every day at St. Vincent’s lives are saved, significantly improved and supported. Hearts are restarted, tumours are removed, organs are implanted and new drugs are trialled. In the less dramatic moments, broken limbs are wrapped and the homeless are offered a safe place to rest. We pride ourselves on innovation  in research and care, while never forgetting that our patients are people who need to be comforted and counselled as they face defining moments in their lives.

Song for Stuart
Stuart Speed was an outstanding musician – a bass player who worked with Paul Kelly, Kate Ceberano, Renee Geyer and friends. Stuart supported Billy Joel on his Australian tour, and performed across UK and Europe.

Stuart died three years ago, after a long period of care at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Neil Speed, Stuart’s father, and friends decided to stage a concert to celebrate his life and raise funds for St. Vincent’s Cancer Centre. Hosted by Wilbur Wilde, the concert will bring together an array of highly respected artists, including Paul Kelly, Kate Ceberano, Renee Geyer, Vika & Linda, Phil Ceberano, Gerry Hale’s ‘Uncle Bill’, Jex Saarelaht and Russell Shayer– united for a common purpose, performing in a unique and intimate venue.     Song for Stuart
