He has experience in community and inpatient settings across NSW and Victoria, as well as the UK. Kevan completed a Masters of Social Work at La Trobe University in 2003 and in 2022 was awarded a Doctorate at Monash University's Department of Social Work, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science. His PHD was focused on the Reasons For Use Package. Kevan is on the Executive of the Yarra Drug and Health Forum, is an active member of the Yarra Mental Health Alliance and a member of the international body MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers).
