Weekly Surgical Lecture Series

Objective

The PreSET Society runs weekly teaching sessions with content from all surgical specialties, including practical skills sessions. Topics will cover common conditions, as well as recognising and managing uncommon but serious conditions. Teaching during coronavirus has been occurring online, with links posted each week on the society facebook page. Lectures are most commonly presented by a unit surgical consultant or fellow.

The teaching sessions are intended to be interactive and focused on preparing residents to become competent registrars. The exact format is up to the consultant teaching the session, it may be entirely discussion based or case based.
