Victorian Dual Disability Service Enhanced Regional Service Response (ERSR)
The ERSR was a three year pilot (2006–2009) funded by Disability Services Division and the Mental Health and Drugs Division. The purpose of the pilot was to provide an effective service response for those people in the north and west Metropolitan Region who meet the target group.
The focus of this pilot was to develop the pathways and improve access to specialist mental health and disability services for people with dual disability, and build the capacity of Disability Client Service, Behaviour Intervention Support Team Practitioners, mental health clinicians and rehabilitation support workers to more effectively identify, screen and manage the mental health needs.
