The six accredited HRECs which participate in the SERP process are:
- Alfred Health
- Austin Health
- Melbourne Health
- Peter McCallum Cancer Centre
- Southern Health
- St Vincent’s Hospital.
For research activities taking place at more than one of the above centres, only one HREC review is required. The remaining accredited centres involved will accept that ethical approval, and undertake a Governance Review only, via SSA submission.

Before submitting your application:
Contact the Central Allocation System line to allocate the application to a reviewing HREC: (03) 9092 1983, Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm EST. This phone call will involve answering questions about your research and you will be asked to provide relevant information. The call will take approximately fifteen minutes.
