Animal Ethics Committee 

The St Vincent’s Hospital Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) is responsible for ensuring that all activities relating to the care and use of animals are conducted in compliance with the ‘Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes’ 8th Edition 2013.

All research and teaching involving the use of animals must receive approval from the St Vincent’s Hospital AEC before commencing.
