Cross Campus Research Seminars Calendar 2010
The St Vincent’s Research Directorate is pleased to announce the Cross Campus Research Seminar Calendar for 2010, which has been designed in collaboration with campus partners is now available.
These seminars follow on from our previous years’ successful series and will cover 3 main themes:
1) Clinical Research Methods
eg statistics, ethics, finance, study design to assist staff in their practice
2) Translational Research Seminars
“Molecules and Materials to Man”
Featuring specialist speakers from clinical and research departments across the STV campus. Speakers will be co-presenting on topics to explore investigative and practical issues. Seminar topics are designed to highlight the range and depth of research and collaborative opportunities across the greater campus.
These seminars will be brought to you by the NHMRC’s Centre of Clinical Research Excellence (CCRE) in Clinical Science in Diabetes, The University of Melbourne, Department of Medicine, St Vincent's.
Seminars are designed for a mixed audience and for all staff across the St Vincent’s Fitzroy and associated campuses, including from partner organisations such as the Bionic Ear Institute (BEI), O’Brien Institute (OBI), the St Vincent’s Institute (SVI) and the University of Melbourne’s departments of Medicine, Psychiatry, Surgery etc – all welcome!
Seminars run approximately every Thursday lunchtime.
