Transport assistance

If you are required to attend a hospital more than 100 km distance from your place of residence for medical treatment, both you and the person who accompanies you may be eligible for the government Patient Transport Assistance Scheme which provides a small subsidy to assist with recompense of travel and accommodation costs at these times.
