Music @ St V's 

Music @ St V’s is the only musical program of its kind in Australia, bringing live music into the heart of the hospital.

We are fortunate to have music students from the Australian Catholic University, Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne and Australian National Academy of Music share their wonderful gift of music with you, your family and the hospital staff. We also feature our own talented staff and professional guest artists. The range of music is broad, from classical to jazz, opera to folk; in this way we cater to all musical tastes.

Concerts take place in Brenan Hall on the ground floor of the Aikenhead Building, 27 Victoria Parade. These concerts are taped and broadcast on the free TV channel each weekday at 3.00pm. We also hold regular concerts at St George’s and Caritas Christi Hospice, and in many wards on the Fitzroy campus. Please don’t hesitate to ask our staff for program details or to pass on your suggestions about the music you would like to hear.
