Rehabilitation

    Rehabilitation provides an in-patient and out-patient service for people with disabilities.

The Service offers assessments, treatments, reviews, discharge planning and follow-up.

Functions are split into two streams of care - neurological rehabilitation and musculo-skeletal rehabilitation, with the later including amputee rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation generally manages these diagnosis groups:

  • stroke
  • multiple sclerosis
  • complex orthopoedic fractures
  • joint replacements
  • amputations
  • arthritis
