St. Vincent's Breastscreen

St. Vincent's BreastScreen screens about 40,000 women annually as part of the national BreastScreen Program, funded by the state and Commonwealth governments. The Program is aimed at early detection of breast cancer and provides free screening every two years for women aged over 40.

St. Vincent's BreastScreen co-ordinates screening services in metropolitan Melbourne, and in rural Victorian districts the Goulburn Valley and the Mallee.
