Allied Health Refresher Course

St. Vincent’s Health is pleased to offer refresher courses for allied health professionals.  The courses have two components:

-          general half day course (for all allied health disciplines)

-         specific discipline course

The general half day course will cover:

-          Introduction to St. Vincent’s Health – our Mission and Values, staff benefits, safety

-          The structure, scope and vision of Allied Health at St. Vincent’s Health

-          Opportunities for Allied Health

-          The patients perspective of the continuum of care

-          Recent initiatives – Hospital Admission Risk Program and Restoring Health

-          Allied Health in Community Rehabilitation Centres

-          Allied Health in Mental Health services

-          Research Initiatives
