Outpatient Clinics

All solid tumours and high grade lymphomas are treated.

The department has a holistic approach to the patient and their family, providing psychosocial support as well as physical care. It also has a firm policy of working and communicating with the general practitioner and other specialists.

The Department works closely with surgical and other specialists and with palliative care services. All of our oncologists contribute to the organ specific multi-disciplinary meetings within the Hospital (see under Cancer Services for more details).

There is an active clinical research programme, especially for breast, bowel, lung, pancreatic, brain and kidney cancer and lymphomas. The active trials change over time, and further information is available from any of the above consultants.

There are satellite clinics at Werribee Mercy Hospital, Goulburn Valley Base Hospital, Echuca Hospital and private clinics at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Masada Hospital.

Urgent Referrals: We usually see new patients within 2-3 working days. For urgent referrals, patients can be seen sooner if required.
