Diabetes Educator Service

Direct referral is available to the Diabetes Education Service.  For bookings or further details, telephone the Diabetes Educator. The Diabetes Educators can be contacted Monday to Friday by telephoning 9288 2211 and paging 161 or calling directly on 9288 3675 or 3676.


Clinical Trials: The Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes is continuously involved in medical and nursing research including clinical trials of new and emerging pharmaceutical products. The medical conditions usually associated with clinical trials are Type 1 and type 2 diabetes, acromegaly, osteoporosis and hypercholesterolaemia. Should you have any patients who may benefit from involvement in clinical trials please contact Anne Ferguson Endocrine Clinical Trials Coordinator on 9288 3673.
