Head and Neck/ENT 

 

The St Vincent’s Head and Neck/ENT unit provides expert clinical care in the diagnosis, treatment and management of adult head and neck/ENT conditions. Our surgeons are specialists in the areas of otology and vestibular disorders, endoscopic sinus and nasal surgery, laser surgery of the larynx, skull base surgery and all head and neck cancer related surgery. 

Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Clinic

This clinic is a combined initiative of St Vincent's, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. St Vincent's provides a comprehensive head and neck cancer program and prides itself on being a centre of excellence in the management of head and neck cancer patients.
 
Our multidisciplinary approach focuses on assessment and treatment of all malignancies of the head and neck, utilising staff that specialise in head and neck oncology.  

 
Referrals should include:

  • Tissue histology report (if available)
  • CT of head, neck and chest
  • OPG (x-ray) for suspected floor of mouth tumours

This is a public outpatient service. All patients need to be referred to us by a GP. Please see your GP if you believe you would benefit from a referral to this clinic. Many doctors have private consulting suites as well as working in the public hospital system. This is entirely separate from St Vincent’s and our staff do not have any information about the private consulting practices of doctors.
