Home Based Allied Health Services (Domiciliary / Rescare)

Domiciliary Therapy is home and community care (HACC) funded to provide allied health interventions including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, podiatry and dietetics to frail elderly or younger disabled clients who are housebound. St Vincent's Domiciliary Therapy Service is available to clients living in the municipalities of Yarra, Boroondara and the southern part of Darebin (Fairfield, Northcote, Alphington and Thornbury).

Rescare, Employed Carers Day Respite Program
This program provides respite for the carers of frail older persons. Carers must live or work in the eastern area of Melbourne. The service offers nursing care, health assessments, personal care, wound care and a comprehensive activity program for clients with high needs, in a secure environment, located at St George’s, Kew. Access to Continence and other clinics is also available.
Aged care assessment is not essential for access to this service.
