Australian Leadership Awards Fellowships (ALAF)

In 2009, Asia Australia Mental Health and the POST program were granted six scholarships with the Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) Fellowships. These Fellowships fall under the Australia Awards initiative which was announced by the Prime Minister in November 2009.

The ALA Fellowships program aims to develop leadership, address priority regional issues and build partnerships and linkages with developing countries. More information can be found at

It is with great pleasure that Asia Australia Mental Health and the POST program were able to work with health professionals through AusAID’s support. The funding provided the opportunity for individuals to enhance leadership in Community Mental Health in the Asia Pacific. More information about these scholarships can be found at Australian Leadership Awards Fellowships.
