Education

Our commitment

St Vincent’s has a long-standing commitment to education with significant time and financial resources invested in developing skills and fostering new talent. Sharing knowledge is an integral part of the St Vincent’s culture. Senior medical staff and mentors are accessible to trainees, forming collegiate relationships that encourage communication and questions without emphasis on hierarchy.

Nurse education

St Vincent’s continues to offer diverse educational opportunities to our community of nurses ranging from undergraduate students and graduate nurses to nurses working towards expert level by completing postgraduate studies in their clinical area.

Junior doctor education

Our junior doctor program offers interdiscipline college-based training that has a national reputation for excellence. Students enrolled in our physician training program have consistently achieved the best results in Australia for the past 10 years.
