Throughout the year we encourage you to make the most of additional opportunities that will contribute to the nursing teams and the organisation to enhance your personal and professional development.
Such opportunities involve assisting with the recruitment process for the following year’s GNP, by providing third year students with an ‘insiders view’ and answering all those questions! For example: staffing the booths at the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Nursing Expo and the St Vincent’s Open Evening, or chatting with candidates during the interview process.
As a Graduate Nurse at St Vincent’s, you will also be asked to give feedback and provide ideas regarding the recruitment and selection process for our GNP.
We are confident that after only a short period of time working at St Vincent’s you will feel and think of yourselves as not ‘just an employee’ but as part of our nursing community.
