Opera in the Market - 19 & 21 March

It's a feast for the senses when St Vincent's and Australian Music Events present Opera In The Market on 19 and 21 March 2012 at the Queen Victoria Market.
Fruit stalls and forklifts make way for Melbourne’s finest food, wine and the greatest sounds of opera and musical theatre. Our food and wine trail features  iconic restaurants and caterers including The Point Albert Park Lake, MoVida, Estelle Bar & Kitchen, St Katherine’s and Fred and Ginger Catering.

Be captivated by acclaimed opera soloists Elena Xanthoudakis and Roy Best, special guest James Morrison, the Alpha Sinfonia orchestra and 100 voices conducted by Guy Noble.  The two nights of opera are for a good cause, with net proceeds from corporate sales supporting St Vincent’s Cancer Centre.
